Starman is a tribute to Gentry Lee – visionary, NASA engineer, and collaborator of both Carl Sagan and Arthur C. Clarke. The film traces his journey from the Viking and Voyager missions to today’s explorations of Mars, while also highlighting his unique ability to cross the boundaries between science and science fiction. Director Robert Stone presents a portrait of a man whose life was dedicated to the search for cosmic companionship. This documentary is an inspiring celebration of human curiosity, creativity, and the eternal desire to reach for the stars.
